This LED to the formation of the University of Health Sciences/Chicago grad school (UHS/CMS) in 1967. 

The new University was one among the primary colleges within the country committed to developing integrated instructional programs for physicians and connected health professionals. This instructional model, formed by Dr. A. Nichols Taylor, then president of Chicago grad school, and funded mostly through the efforts of board chairman Woody Herman M. Finch, brought along diagnostic, supportive, and investigatory functions of drugs in one setting. The University of Health Sciences was composed of 2 schools: the varsity of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies, established in 1968, and therefore the college of connected Health Sciences (now the school of Health Professions), established in 1970.
